“De Bord en Bord” (“from edge to edge”) is a waterfront redevelopment proposal responding to the National Capital Commission of Quebec’s vision for the St. Lawrence River. Unfolding along Quebec City’s northeastern shoreline, it investigates urban design strategies to transcend artificial borders—the Dufferin-Montmorency highway and Boulevard Sainte-Anne. By identifying these primary barriers and reimagining the spaces they frame, the project enhances permeability and redefines the city’s relationship with its riverfront.
