Entry Description

Casa Tikira is a retreat for contemplation and connection with nature, uniting contemporary architecture, artisanal craft, and respect for the Serra da Mantiqueira’s native landscape. Designed for two ceramists, it blends concrete, steel, wood, and glass to frame expansive views while preserving the site’s vegetation. Natural materials, fluid indoor-outdoor transitions, and solar and water reuse systems embody a vision of simplicity, authenticity, and environmental harmony.
