Entry Description

Shenzhen Universiade World transforms the 2011 Universiade Sports Centre precinct into a 520,000 m² mixed‑use, transit-oriented urban hub. The masterplan integrates sports, culture, retail, and green public spaces, anchored by the iconic “one venue, two halls.” Blending dynamic streetscapes with nature, it offers vibrant southern plazas, serene northern retreats, and a central cultural core. Designed for resilience and community, it reimagines urban life through inclusivity, sustainability, and seamless connectivity.
