Air Play is an interactive children’s museum exhibit designed in Georgia Tech’s Design for Curiosity course under the theme Playing with Intangibles. Inspired by electric circuit-building games, it allows children to pump air through tubes to activate outputs like fans, balloons, and inflatable tube men, fostering hands-on experimentation. Air Play has a durable, electricity-free, and modular system that encourages open-ended play for a wide age range. Tested at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, it was a class standout, praised for its intuitive, scalable, and engaging design.
