Symbioz is a project aimed at creating sub-templates that mimic the rhythms and forms of the townhouses in the neighboring area.
Composed of simple superimposed volumes, yellow treated hollows appear to form different outdoor spaces for each apartment. This ‘stacked’ housing block then constructs a distinct public ground floor that takes advantage of the landscape at site.
A synergy is established between the different bodies that make up the project, businesses, housing, shared spaces, and gardens, with and overall sense of harmony between the new and the old and the natural and the built.
