Entry Description

This is a four-building subdivision in a narrow residential area in Tokyo. The plan was designed so that the symbolic cherry tree, located in the center of the common garden, can be seen beautifully from each unit. Large picture windows and balconies are placed in the living room where residents can relax while viewing at the garden, and the garden is arranged so that residents can enjoy not only the cherry blossoms, but also the seasonal plantings. The residents can enjoy the scenery of each season, and this empathy fosters a good sense of community.
