The creation of this design draws inspiration from a very present topic in our society, the repression of women. Since past centuries, women have been restricted in society from the use of clothing for the hyper-sexualization of their bodies, to the great struggle to have the same rights and respect as men receive.
This piece is created on thermoformed acrylic representing an armor which at the same time is perceived as almost transparent with a long tulle skirt, using haute couture techniques to demonstrate duality within the design.
