At a remote site of around 6,600sqm, the medicine center was built to meet the modern standards of infection control, occupational safety and health standards. The 5-storey building comprises of cold rooms and autopsy suits, X-ray and CT scan rooms, laboratories, public receiving areas, biers, interview rooms, viewing rooms and other facilities for bereavement services.
Cold rooms and autopsy suites are at the building core surrounded by public areas, waiting halls, ceremony halls and gardens to mediate gradually between the highly controlled forensic facilities and its surrounding nature.
