Entry Description

We embolden everyday heroes with African-inspired scrubs and uniform. Doctors have the highest suicide rate of any profession we make unique African-inspired scrubs to brighten up their days. Our scrubs are not just clothing, but we have seen them bring life into draining environments and situations. Health professionals serve us so sacrificially, especially in times when we are most vulnerable. We feel like helping health professionals emotionally, physically and mentally can impact the whole world and bring about effective change in society.

Bio

Founded in 2017 by two sisters from a small township in Limpopo, South Africa.

Sabafuraha was started out of a need but has now become a beautiful reflection of African culture and diversity.

The business aims to embolden everyday heroes with African-inspired medical scrubs and uniforms.

Awards and Prize

2021 Best Business Case: Voted by Woolworths, Cape Union Mart, Pep Specialty and Pep Clothing.

Featured in "Sunday Times Newspaper" in November 2020. The Sunday Times is South Africa's most-read newspaper.
