Entry Description

If a chair is a minimal living space, a sofa is somewhere between a room and a chair.
I designed isola sofa because I wanted to spend all day on the sofa, sleeping, eating, drinking beer, and reading a book once in a while.
I drew sketches of the sofa so that it would be comfortable in any position, and the rounded design was born.
Large and small cushions can be used as pillows or placed under the elbows or feet. The armrests are spread asymmetrically with a large table for eating
and a smaller table for books and glasses.
The result is an island-like shape floating in the sea.
