Fly-A-Way is a strategy board game where players help birds complete their migratory journeys.
Migratory birds face many challenges that threaten them with extinction. We wanted to raise awareness about a relatively serious issue in a creative and fun way, and found board games to be the perfect immersive medium.
Real-life events depicted in the game evoke the drama of migration and urgency of conservation. The birds in the game were chosen to reflect the diverse species in Asia, which had rarely been represented in existing games.
