The whole of the packaging for Porto Ferreira’s special 
“200-year lot" was created and produced by 
Omdesign, a Portuguese advertising agency. This lot is 
made up of five exceptional Vintage Ports (1947, 
1952, 1985, 1994 and 1997). The “1947” is a 1.5-litre 
magnum and the “1952” is a rarity, coming as it does 
from a year when the company was one of the few to 
declare a Vintage. Extremely luxurious, this unique 
and exclusive packaging was totally handcrafted by 
Portuguese craftsmen, using exotic wood, silver and 
natural leather. It features a book inside and was 
auctioned by Sotheby’s in the Tower of London last 
May. This Port was marketed under the “Luxury of 
Time” concept, entirely designed by Omdesign with 
the aim of reflecting the new and exclusive luxury 
positioning that Porto Ferreira took its inspiration 
from, having the patience to wait until now to launch it 
on the market.
