Inspired by experiments with inflating and deflating balloons to explore form and movement, the Art Omi Design Gallery translates kinetic gestures into architecture. A linear system of tensioned strings evolves into a carved spherical void—the main exhibition hall—anchoring a fluid circulation that connects studios, galleries, and a lakeside path. The curving concrete shell, derived from balloon-deflation studies, contrasts with warm wooden interiors, creating an architectural meditation on lightness, motion, and material memory.
