Women who are seen as soft, gentle, like delicate flowers, but on the inside have strong personalities is a FORMOSA muse, “fleu, FORMOSA” is a lifestyle collection, for the type of female who searches for timeless investment pieces to exist in their closet, those pieces are to empower them and echo their style, and enhance their character.
Yu-Hsuan Chen (preferred name Stephanie) is a Taiwanese-born, New York-based designer focused on luxury, minimal womenswear. She holds a MFA Fashion Design degree from Fashion Institute of Technology with BFA in Fashion Design from Pratt Institute.
Stephanie has worked closely with designers Narciso Rodriguez, Prabal Gurung, Sally LaPointe, Caron Callahan and Asher Levine. Her mother is the first woman who inspired her with the contrast of vulnerability and strength, informing her definition of empowering women.
