Prize(s)Bronze in Architecture Project Development / Mixed Use
Entry Description

This mixed-use development in Nederland, Colorado combines a recreation center with co-housing to support the local ski resort workforce. Affordable units step with the hillside, while the recreation center follows site paths for minimal disruption. A reused mill anchors the project, paired with circular construction and renewable systems powering pools, gym, and restaurant. Water is filtered and reused through a living system, while outdoor spaces, wellness amenities, and a shading-storage curtain wall create a resilient, self-sustaining mountain community.
