The project is located in the core area of Shanghai, just a stone's throw away from the modern landmark "Xintiandi", inheriting the region's rich historical context and the gene of low-key luxury of "old money".
The courtyard design was inspired by the necklace Bulgari commissioned for Elizabeth Taylor in 1962. We translated this into the poetics of space: the geometric cut of the emerald becomes the courtyard's skeleton, and the diamond surround becomes the rhythmic layering of the landscape, engraving the courtyard with eternity and rare splendor.
