Entry Description

Set within a subsiding coastal landscape, this project embraces harmony over resistance. Hovering lightly above ground, it minimizes impact while guiding visitors through a sensory journey of light, tide, and reflection. A shared resting space welcomes fishermen, travelers, and locals alike—offering refuge in a changing shoreline. Built with local, sustainable materials, the structure acts as a quiet mediator between land and sea, past and future, solitude and community. Rather than dominate, it frames the rhythms of nature and the resilience of coastal life.
