Atal Sarovar exemplifies water-centric urban transformation, integrating natural hydrology, recreational spaces & sustainable water management. It rejuvenates a neglected waterbody into a thriving urban hub, utilizing tertiary-treated water from a STP, ensuring year-round water retention & mitigating freshwater dependency. A robust interconnected water network links Atal Sarovar to adjacent lakes & a dam, enhancing flood resilience & ecological continuity. The project fosters ecological resilience, enhances community interaction & serves as a model for sustainable urban development in India.
