Waypoint is a transitional housing project designed for youth (18-26) aging out of foster care, providing stability, security, and support. Located in Brooklyn, it repurposes a historic brownstone into a nurturing environment that fosters independence. The design integrates trauma-informed principles, biophilic elements, and flexible communal spaces to promote well-being. With a focus on mental health, education, and life skills, Waypoint empowers residents to transition into adulthood confidently. The space embodies resilience, growth, and community, offering a path forward for its residents.
