The project is situated on the west bank of the Tongzhou section of the Grand Canal in Beijing, on the east side of the city's sub-center. Originally an antique-style building, it has been unused for over a decade. The owner envisions converting it into a multi-functional space incorporating tourism reception, rest areas, a water bar, and a bookshop. This transformation aims to serve dual purposes: to fulfill public functions for park visitor reception and to achieve a balanced investment return through the commercial operation of the water bar and bookshop.
