EXPLORE THE IDA 2025 WINNERS - GET INSPIRED BY OUTSTANDING DESIGN!
This project is a nine-story office building in central Tokyo, with a hybrid structure of a steel post-and-beam frame and timber seismic frames inserted into it. We realized intimate and relaxing workspaces surrounded by timber lattice shell that works as both a structural and interior element. Unlike ordinary office buildings accumulating homogeneous floors, we have arranged rich outdoor common spaces within the building. This is a proposal for a new prototype of an office building worth visiting and working in, even after establishing online working techniques.
