Originally designed in 1968 by AIA architect George Coty. The cedar-clad interior was transformed from a bunker-like space to an open, light-filled haven with sweeping ocean views. Key changes included introducing a large rear window overlooking the beach and removing barriers obstructing the view. Sustainability was a priority, respecting the habitat of the endangered snowy plover and reusing existing materials. The result is a harmonious blend of Coty's original design, openness, and eco-conscious living, ensuring the house thrives as a connected, eco-friendly retreat by the sea.
