Set on one of São Paulo’s breathtaking beaches, Bambu Atmosfera draws on natural materials to create a harmonious relationship between its residents and the surrounding landscape. Bamboo was the project’s main inspiration as it is a flexible material that can easily adapt to diverse applications and shapes. Being a natural and low-cost material that is easily sourced in Brazil, the use of bamboo helps reduce the building’s carbon footprint.
Bambu Atmosfera has a U-shaped footprint that allows for a generous and symbolic square composed of native plant species.
