Entry Description

The project is to provide 44,000 niches at Kiu Tau Road, Wo Hop Shek Cemetery to meet public demand by constructing two multi-storey blocks at two sites close to each other.

Design Concept: Bai San “拜山” – where the present meets past and future. Cloud of soul which is a collective platform for personal memories in columbarium

[Life] Frozen in time
[Soul] Stay in mind
[Memories] Floating in space
[Cloud] Floating in sky, comes and goes like the cycles of being
Cloud, Life and Soul will all dissolve into nature
Walls separating two worlds. Through the walls, we entre one world from another.
