According to WHO, 2.2 billion people have vision impairment. Vision-threatening diseases are very difficult to perceive until a significant change in vision is noticed. Optical coherence tomography, OCT,is the best way to detect these diseases at their early stages But it has not been used widely around the world, due to high costs and big sizes. Our OCT device, KUOS-O100, is cost-effective and compact, compared to conventional ones. This all-in-one package contains everything, including a monitor, PC, etc. It is portable because it weighs only 5 kg and can operate as soon as it's plugged in.

We are a startup company founded in March 2018. As noticed by the company title made by combining "philos", meaning love, and "phos", meaning light, we pursue the commercialization of various innovative optical technologies.
Currently, we are working on low-cost and compact optical coherence tomography (OCT) systems.
