Solaris collection

MELJAC has developed Solaris, a new solid brass collection of switches and sockets, in collaboration with the Australian designer Marc Newson. The range features remodeled curved edges, a new slender, flattened toggle and a flush concave push button. The carefully design shapes offer ease of use and a unique tactile experience. The contrast between the brushed brass finish of the plate and the shinny black brass base of the toggle accentuates the elegant lines of the switch. The Solaris collection is labeled "Origine France Garantie" and wins a Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021.

Created in 1995, Meljac is leader in high-quality electrical fittings: switches, sockets, reading lamps, thermostats, automation systems… The French company (90 employees) pushes the limits of luxury and enhances functional objects, with collections in solid brass and other noble materials. The quality of the very high-end finishes reflects the "savoir-faire" through both hand and machines work. Best known for its bespoke creations with an irreproachable esthetic, Meljac is labelled Living Heritage Company (EPV). The company has one subsidiary in the United States of America.
