Eric Owen Moss’s “The Waffle” is home to Chef Jordan Kahn’s two Michelin-starred dining experience Vespertine. A predominant figure of Culver City’s industrial Hayden Tract, Vespertine’s, red steel ribbed exterior houses an intricately curated experience across a ground floor, a mezzanine, a second floor, and an open-air roof deck connected by an internal stair and elevator. An outdoor garden of equal footprint as the tower is located to the east, consisting of mounded earth, concrete tables and stairs, and planted flora to serve as an outdoor gathering space for casual dining and cocktails.
