Dissociation: Beyond the Cage is my senior collection, exploring the paradox of protection versus restriction. Inspired by the metamorphosis of a butterfly, the collection contrasts rigid enclosures with fluid expansion, opacity with translucency. Drawing from Victorian silhouettes reimagined through futuristic detailing, it merges structural architecture with emotional narrative. Through layered deconstruction and surface manipulation, the design questions whether walls built for security ultimately liberate or confine.
