In reaction to the problems of increasing sea level and energy shortage in the Eastern Taiwan, this venture introduces the construction of a tidal-powered public infrastructure, which is a kind of reconstruction of a fishing port. Raised above the water to allow for the thriving of the ecological flows, the long structure carries wave and current energy systems and a common space for fishers and travelers. To sum it up, it becomes a bird-eye-styled window, whereby energy generation becomes experience, architecture pays attention to education, and climate resilience becomes spatial poetry.
