Entry Description

Tongxiang Red Education Center is located in a village where the figure-ground relation is relatively open and loose. The southeast side of the village is an organic residential area along the river, and the north side is a new rural residence with uniform style and shape. We try to collage an inwardly enclosed space by using the original factory space and corridors. To some extent, it alleviates the "crisis of entities" formed by the separation of individual buildings in this area, which proposed by Colin Rowe, and provides a gathering and inward public space for the countryside.
