The Solar Mouse is a first-of-its-kind battery-free light-powered mouse. Using the energy gathering ability of the Ambient Photonics Solar Cell, the Solar Mouse is able to glean energy from the environment, and never requires recharge. Translucent skin, available in gloss and matte, passes light to the embedded solar cell, converting light to power.
It is the first of an upcoming era of next-gen peripherals, free from the environmental and design limitations imposed by batteries. It employs minimal materials, sustainable practices and will operate far beyond current standards in electronics.
