The target of this renovation project, Guangsha Xinyuan, is a 20-year-old residential area with aging residents who have increasing needs for barrier-free facilities and childcare. Based on the current site conditions, designers have redivided the outdoor space into four zones: leisure, fitness, children's play and recuperation. They have refurbished the storage room into an elderly activity room, renovated the existing pavilions, and addressed drainage issues during the rainy seasons, realizing an "Outdoor Dream Renovation+" for the old site.
