Entry Description

This collection draws inspiration from Huxley's "Brave New World," depicting a dystopian society where technological-driven prosperity masks the loss of freedom and human nature.
Each silhouette was made into two colors-vibrant colors and muti-textured black to portray the contrast between the illusory world of false prosperity and the inner emptiness of emotions.
This inspiration is abstract, thus, I chose an abstract approach-utilizing both black and colors in the same silhouettes- to convey my thoughts. I aspire for my work to pique people's interest and provoke contemplation topic.
