Entry Description

Sens is an interactive, tactile activity planner that helps visually impaired (VI) children learn Braille through multi-sensory play. Each textured token stimulates one or more senses, making learning engaging and accessible. Bright yellow accents aid children with partial vision in recognizing tokens by sight or touch. When placed in the planner, tokens roll to an NFC reader that announces activities, reinforcing consistency and interaction. As skills grow, tokens can be combined to increase difficulty, fostering deeper engagement and confidence. Sens empowers children toward independence.
