This project addresses the vulnerability of Mexico’s coastal communities to hurricanes through a resilient housing prototype. Based on social and urban analysis, it promotes self-construction, community empowerment, and sustainable building practices in collaboration with CEMEX. Designed as a rapid-response system, the model integrates accessible materials, structural efficiency, and technologies to strengthen social cohesion, recovery capacity, and long-term resilience in disaster-prone regions.
