Entry Description

Set on Montauk’s hillside above the Atlantic, this site-responsive home blends privacy, resilience, and coastal modernism within a native landscaped environment. Three terraced volumes, hinged by a vertical circulation column, allow dynamic sunlit living. Clad in Kebony and Shugri ban wood, they reduce visual impact. Passive and active systems, a green roof, and layered glazing support net-zero performance. Sculpted interiors flow to an infinity pool amid woodland walks and pollinator gardens—modernism rooted in place.

Bio

As Principal, I lead with vision and experience to shape sustainable, timeless homes rooted in place. My work blends refined craftsmanship, contextual sensitivity, and high-performance design. I focus on how light, sound, texture, and scent shape experience—natural wood, clay plaster, and non-toxic materials all matter. Each project begins with a deep study of site, climate, and values, and is guided from concept to completion with care, collaboration, and respect for nature.
