We created the world's first wooden drone STEAM education system because STEAM programs are not widely available in some developing countries, and the associated teaching aids are expensive and difficult to replicate. Students use an iPad digital platform to freely design drone components that incorporate traditional Chinese mortise and tenon joinery; an AI system provides real-time feedback on structural defects and optimizes solutions; and a laser cutting machine accurately outputs the wooden components, which are assembled with electronics and prepared for test flight.
