Kotchi Okot Square Community Agriculture Learning Center

Kotchi Okot Square is a Net-Zero Community Agriculture Learning Center in Baton Rouge that merges sustainable farming, education, and architecture. Rooted in equity and resilience, it features passive design, solar panels, rainwater harvesting, and native planting. A woven façade inspired by the Assamese Jappi hat reflects cultural identity while enhancing comfort. Educational spaces and student housing surround a central courtyard, fostering hands-on learning, food security, and lasting community impact.

I believe in the power of design thinking to positively impact the world. My journey—from Iran to the U.S. in 2022—has shaped me into a thoughtful and well-rounded designer. With experience in residential, healthcare, commercial, and data center projects, I strive to create architecture that blends aesthetics with purpose.
