As the new gateway to Nanyo City, the JR AKAYU STATION EXCHANGE LOUNGE has been reborn as a space embodying the region's nature and culture, with "Harvest" as its core concept. Inspired by the local folktale "Tsuru no Ongaeshi" (The Crane's Return), the warm design, featuring origami crane lighting objects crafted in citizen workshops and wine barrel motifs, creates an atmosphere of refined relaxation and vibrant activity.
Beyond its function as a waiting area, this multi-purpose space, accommodating learning and events, serves as a hub for the local community's growth and interaction.
