Entry Description

The Tokyo International Cruise Terminal was designed towelcome visitors travelling by these large-scale vessels to thecapital city; while providing convenient access to populartourist attractions.
The cruise ship terminal, which opened its doors in September 2020, has a unique structural form which combines innovations across architecture and civil engineering.
The building offers visitors panoramic views of Tokyo as they arrive and depart. Features include wrap-around balconies, glass walls, and a large roof whose shape takes inspiration from the architectural build of Japanese temples.
