The church provides not only meditation space for Christians, but also resting places for the surrounding community.
With a long precious window interface, the design aims to create a church sunbathed abundantly under daylight. “Pocket Spaces” are framed by series of wooden portals for individual & church groups. The central “Living Room” well connects all church components. Inspired by gospel story, the Chapel is generated by the form of a “Seed” which embraces every visitor, and its skin diffuses daylight into the meditation space with play of light, shadow, material and texture.
