Entry Description

The GEAR is designed as Kajima's regional headquarters, integrates office, R&D, and open innovation. KaTRIS runs labs for advanced construction technologies including robotics, fostering open innovations in collaboration with external entities, governmental institutions, universities, and startups. The GEAR evolves as a “smart wellness building” envisioning the future of the environment, city, and living. It is a living lab for validating development results and collecting feedback. The GEAR is not static. It realizes an ever-evolving dynamic system with occupants’ wellbeing prioritized.
