Parsley Bay sees the dramatic reinvention of family home in Sydney’s eastern harbour suburb of Vaucluse.
Feng shui principles were employed to reorient the primary entry experience. The owners wanted a sense of refined elegance, luxury and quality, with the emphasis on materiality.
Internally, the project balances the use of natural stone and brass, with double height spaces and light drenched rooms that orient towards the leafy bushland beyond. Painted timber panelling lines the walls as a subtle and delicate interpretation of traditional wall moulding.
