Scoom is an innovative electric scooter that provides urban mobility to adults in cities where means of transportation are not as convenient. Its aesthetic form is inspired by the Bird of Paradise (Strelitzia Reginae) plant. Imitating the blooming process of this flower, the design of Scoom’s storage compartments enables users to store personal items and transport them without losing balance while riding. The design trigger for Scoom was the symbolic meaning behind the flower as it represents freedom, joy, overcoming obstacles in life, and a sense of exploration.
