Meditation Duplex

"Meditation" refers to contemplation or Zen spirit, and often integrated with yoga exercise. Could we develop a hybrid living & meditation space for healing of urban hectic life?

“Meditation Duplex”, with transformable electric staircase, detachable & expandable platform to create a sustainable & soulful healing duplex space that integrates various elements such as interchanging Living & Meditation scenarios, floating resting space, high capacity storage, diverse functionalities, smart living, green planting, environmentally friendly materials, natural ventilation, and platform reusability.

Sim-Plex Design Studio is an innovative design studio which engaged in interior spatial design, mainly focus on expanding the possibilities of limited space.

Founder Patrick Lam lived in the old and small tenement apartment in Hong Kong for many years. Small and packed space is no strangers to him. This long- term experience of living in a tiny space driven his force to investigate the possibilities of expanding a limited space.
