Entry Description

This work is a nearly 17-meter-long steel railing on the bridge. The viewer's impression changes depending on the path of the sun and the tides.
Before the creation, the designer invited some young islanders to go on a field trip and asked them to draw the fiddler crabs they saw under the bridge. After analyzing the results, the designer incorporate the images into the design. The visual language used here abstracts the shapes associated with waves and the impression young islanders have of fiddler crabs under the bridge.
Newly designed railing connects young islanders and the environment.
