Entry Description

AQORIA -The Pilot Whale–inspired Ocean Safety Device- is a floating system designed to reduce dangerous encounters between marine animals and coastal communities. Mimicking whales’ natural sonar communication, it emits safe, low-frequency pulses that gently guide large marine animals away from shore, while simultaneously alerting coast guards. Compact, sustainable, and user-friendly, it provides an essential layer of protection for swimmers, divers, and marine ecosystems, merging technology with biomimicry for safer coasts.
