Entry Description

Deqin Meri Poodom Hotel, designed by Wu Bin of W.DESIGN, is a mountain retreat in Deqin, China, completed in October 2024. It sits at an altitude of 3,600 meters, on the viewing platform overlooking Meili Snow Mountain.

Rather than pursuing luxury through scale, Deqin Meri Poodom Hotel embraces depth of experience. It returns to the essence of place, offering a design rooted in human spirit, emotion, and connection to the sublime. Here, the idea of “my home in the snow mountains” takes form—a shelter that transcends time, both contemporary and timeless.
