IDA 2026 IS NOW OPEN - REGULAR DEADLINE: AUGUST 15
Project located in the middle of the city of Taipei, “The Horizontal Canopy” is a rethinking of the block classroom, which is transformed into a ground-level forest of learning and community activities. Rotated modular classrooms enhance the daylight and goal view as they create a tapestry of both small and large courtyards, which respectively hold different education, recreation, and activities. The no border landscape fosters a clear division between the inside and outside, between the student and the citizen, giving them the opportunity to grow in a shared space that encompasses generations
