Bio Genesis operates at the intersection between biology and computation to imagine an architecture that begins from a single strand of DNA. The building, or body, evolves in response to population and climate data to maintain equilibrium between energy demand and production.
Seventeen generative and evolutionary algorithms, which approximate the processes of embryonic development, drive the adaptation of architectural form. To pursue environmental stability in urban landscapes, the project draws on the remarkable methods of our own construction to develop new models for sustainable design.
